When musicians play together they connect. Music can connect us with our listeners, musicians, and even ourselves. With the group Connect, we strive for that connection with every performance. Vince Gnojek and Will Treaster connected as saxophone teacher/student in 2005. Vince was the Professor of Saxophone at the University of Kansas and Will was a high school saxophone student. Fast forward 18 years later and we have reconnected as collaborators! With a vision for beautiful and soaring melodies, Connect reflects our mission to share our music through performance and music education.

After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Kansas, Will taught elementary music for 2 years in Horton, Kansas. During this period, he earned a Master’s degree in Education from Fort Hays State University while continuing to develop his own piano methodology and performance. Currently, Will is a music educator, co-creator of Connect, and in demand as a collaborator.
